Midnight Season 1 Race to World First: Echo Leads as Top Guilds Hit 7/9 Mythic
The World of Warcraft: Midnight Season 1 Race to World First (RWF) is in full swing — and it’s shaping up to be one of the most unique raid races in recent history. For the first time, Blizzard split the entire tier across three separate raids (The Voidspire, The Dreamrift, and March on Quel’Danas), totaling nine mythic bosses. The first two raids opened on March 24 (NA) / March 25 (EU), while the final raid, March on Quel’Danas, dropped its mythic difficulty on March 31.
As of April 1, 2026 (Day 8 of mythic progression), the world’s best guilds have powered through the opening seven bosses and are now laser-focused on the final two encounters in March on Quel’Danas: Belo’ren, Child of Al’ar and the tier-ending Midnight Falls (L’ura).
Current Standings: Top 3 Guilds
1. Echo (EU) – The Current Leader Echo sits firmly in first place with a commanding 7/9 mythic kills. They hold the best progress on the first Quel’Danas boss, Belo’ren, reaching an impressive ~78.2% on their top pulls. The European powerhouse has been relentless with mythic splits and custom optimizations, positioning them as the clear favorite for World First Midnight Falls.
2. Liquid (US) – Hot on Their Heels Team Liquid, the reigning champions from previous tiers, are locked in at 7/9. While slightly behind Echo on Belo’ren, their consistent performance and deep bench of world-class players keep them in striking distance. U.S. fans are glued to their streams as the final push begins.
3. Method (EU) – Strong Contender Method rounds out the podium at 7/9. Known for their analytical approach and massive community support, the EU veterans have been trading blows with the top two and remain a serious threat once the final bosses open up further.
